Happy Birthday McKenna!

McKenna's birthday falls during the holidays and it has been hard to find time to post these pictures. On 12/03 our little girl turned 1.  It is hard to believe our baby is 1! She is walking all over the place and enjoys taking everything out of drawers (making more work for mommy).  We hope you enjoy.

Happy Thanksgiving!  McKenna's first Thanksgiving. We cannot believe she is turning 1 next week! Wow! Time sure flies.

Cold at the Cabin

A few weeks ago we went to the cabin (Heber, AZ).  On Saturday we decided to go for a walk and it was COLD! McKenna enjoyed being bundled up in her stroller and giving Dad and Mom a hug.

11 Months

11 months! Wow! Our baby girl is growing up so fast.  It is SO hard to believe that she will be a year old in 30 days.  She is sure cute.  I attempted to take some pictures on my own.  It is hard to get McKenna to sit still these days.  She sure is on the move.

A couple of weeks ago we went to the Phoenix Zoo.  We had a great time observing the animals and walking around with Laura Murphy and her little boy.  Too bad it was so hot that day.

Our Family Blog

McKenna at 10 months

After much consideration, I have decided to start a family blog to document our family’s adventures.  I thought blogging would be a great way for me to be creative while keeping family and friends up to date on what is going on in the Coburn household.  As McKenna's 1^st birthday quickly approaches, I thought it would be appropriate to start now.

The past 6+ years have gone by so quickly, and David and I have truly been blessed.  Our greatest blessing and most life-changing event to date was the birth of our daughter McKenna Taylor Coburn.  McKenna was born on 12.03.2010.  Her delivery date was supposed to be Thanksgiving Day, but she decided she wanted to spend some more time in mommy's tummy instead.  Mommy was induced on 12.02.2010, and 28 hours later, McKenna Taylor Coburn was born. She was 21 inches / 7lbs and 7oz.  She is now 10 months old and has mastered all kinds of skills including babbling, sitting up, crawling, standing, pulling Mommy’s hair, pulling her own hair, and pulling herself up on any furniture / person / dog that is within reach J.  She recently started to stand on her own and to feed herself puffs using her thumb and forefinger!  It’s funny how excited we get about the small things.  We hope you will enjoy our blog and continue to read to keep up with our family.
