First Easter Egg Hunt

I came across these pictures the other day and I thought they were too cute not to post. McKenna's first Easter Egg Hunt was with our Church.  Since McKenna was only a few months old her first Easter we were excited to have her partake in Easter festivities this year. She had a lot of fun picking up the eggs.  She wasn't sure what to do with the candy inside which was fine by me.  We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do.

Oh this is so much fun.
Hooray for Easter!
Oh I put them in the basket?

My birthday Memories

David had a business meeting in Denver this past January and we decided I would meet him after the meetings and drive to Aspen for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday.  The night before I was to fly I got severely ill with the flu.  After a lot of deliberation I decided to go to Colorado since our hotel was nonrefundable. Sleeping through most of the flight took my mind off feeling weak and tired. Over the course of the weekend I slowly began to feel better, but it sure did take awhile.  My stomach wouldn't let me eat or drink much of anything. So David tried a lot of good food while I got to watch.  We had a lot of fun going through the shops and taking a drive through the snow to go Cross-Country Skiing. On my birthday we skied through a snowstorm to a lodge where I had a VERY good cup of mushroom soup.  YUM. It was nice to get away just the two of us, but we were very excited to see our little one when we got home. Too bad as soon as we got home David got the flu for the next two days.

We saw our favorite dog (Bernese) and we had to take a pic!

Hanging around the house

Fun time with McKenna at the house.  She sure is cute and fun to hang around with.  I wish I could keep her as a baby/toddler for a little while longer.

Loving my dinner.
Are you sure it is time for a nap?

Shoppoing cart

Shopping..Shopping...Shopping.  McKenna got a shopping cart from Nana and Papa for Christmas and she loves pushing it around.  Watch the video below.  It is pretty funny.

H2

H2 aka Haley 2 was a Christmas gift from Aunt Val and Uncle Kyle.  McKenna loves to play with H2 and one day she decided that H2 belonged on Haley's pillow for a nap. Too cute! Too Funny!

January 2012

McKenna's flower! Mom and McKenna went to the Ribbon and Lace store in Chandler and bought a Pink Daisy for her hair. McKenna is becoming more and more a hair girl.  She loves to play with her hair.  When she was two months old she started to twirl her hair on her own when she was tired and continued to do so until she was about 1.
Pink Daisy! Yeah!

Going on a trip? McKenna playing in our suitcase.

A Bleated Merry Christmas McKenna

After a very busy holiday season, McKenna getting several ear infections, David and I traveling to CO and both getting the flu, celebrating nine family members birthdays and taking a moment to breathe I realized it is now June and I haven't updated our family blog since McKenna's first birthday.  I decided it is time to take a moment to sit down and write about what The Coburn Crew has been up to the later part of 2011 and 2012.
Though McKenna already experienced her first Christmas in 2010 she was a newborn and was completely oblivious to holiday traditions.  Now at 1 years old we were really exited to share Christmas with McKenna and our Seattle family.  We hope you enjoy these pictures as much as we do.
